Brush teeth with toothpaste before treatment. Practice fitting the thermoforming trays. do this by sliding the cold tray over your upper teeth. Try pushing the tray to the shape of your teeth wiith your tongue. Now try to suck the air from the tray, pulling it tigthly against your teeth. Once you feel comfortable with the general feel of the tray move on to step 2
Place a bowl on a flat surface and fill with enough hot water to touch the the tag of the tray. Cold water will not allow the trays to become sufficiently soft to to shape. Place one tray in the water for 5 - 6 seconds, with the tab clear of the water. Do not leave for too long, as this will cause the edges to fold in and could become difficult to seperate.
Lift the tray from the water using the tab at the front of the tray.make sure that any hot water is allowed to drip from the tray before quickly placing the tray around the upper teeth. Now carry out the procedure practiced in section one to shape the tray to your teeth. repeat the procedure for the lower teeth.
Once you are happy with the fit, carefully remove the tab with scissors, making sure it's flush, but taking care not to damage the tray or your fingers.
Apply a light strip of whitening gel from the syringe into the the dental tray (less than 5cc) Do not, repeat, do not be tempted to overfill the trays. this will only cause excess gel to seep out, causing discomfort to gums and skin tissue.
Ultimate gel contains Carbamide Peroxide and should be left in contact with the teeth for no more than 20 minutes per session. Brush teeth thoroughly after treatment.Use every day until a visible difference is evident - this should be no more than approx eight to ten sessions - unless the teeth are very discoloured. If daily use is causing irritation, switch your treatment to every other day. If irritation continues - stop useage.
